CAKE SMASH

Popular for first and second birthdays, but available for any age!
An alternative to cake is to use jelly or fruit, such as watermelon, strawberries, or a fruit platter. Whatever your little person enjoys! This is to be supplied by the parent.
A cake/fruit can be arranged for you at an additional fee (Any allergies must be advised in advance)
Includes:

Consultation to discuss and plan outfits, set colour/theme etc.

The session lasts approximately 1 hour but it is advised to allow 1 & 1/2 hours.

The session includes your child's portrait in their birthday best, followed by the cake smash, all on a decorated set.

Access to an online gallery of shoot photos (approx. 15 images)

IMAGES

Rather than be fixed to a set number of photos in a package, you choose the quantity you'd like once you've viewed the image gallery.

A minimum purchase of 3 high-resolution digital images is required to cover the cost of the session and editing time.

There is the option also to purchase prints and wall art.

It's advised to book it for 2-3 weeks before the birthday so you have images to share on the big day.

location
This photo session takes place in my home studio, with access to washing facilities very close to hand! If you are planning a party, the Smash/Crush can come to you for an additional fee to cover transport, set-up and extra time required.
Storytelling
On the leadup to your session, we will discuss details and if there is any input or narrative you want to add to make it more your own. If you have a favourite colour , toy or theme you want to include, for example.
We will also chat about outfits, what to expect for your little one and any worries you may have about the session. The aim is to cover a little preparation before, so you can relax and enjoy the experience on the day.
TIME
1 hour is usually enough time for both the clean and messy sessions, though I do advise 1 & 1/2 hours to allow for your little one to take some time-out if they need it, outfit changes and toddler wipedown at the end! This gives plenty of time to gather a good range shots.
If we get to the end of your session and you feel you want to do more, we can arrange another sitting, or, if I am available following your session, I can continue. These options require an additional fee.
